This place is phenomenal! We had such a lovely time. Impeccable all around service, location, everything! I loved the kitchen and seating area where we could wind down after a day of sightseeing and delicious food. The beds were so comfortable and calming. The surrounding neighborhood had delicious food and kind people that made us feel welcome on every corner. It was fun going to produce markets and coming back to our home away from home. Kumamoto rocks and the venue confirmed it.

This was the best hotel on our trip to Kyushu. We wish we could've stayed longer in Kumamoto. The hotel was fairly new and had a great view of the castle on the rooftop. The location was perfect; walkable to the castle and the downtown area. There's lots of newer/modern restaurants and shops in the neighborhood behind as well. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The best part was the pajamas. They were super comfortable and stylish. They even sell them to support local school children who designed them. The staff was also great and very easy to communicate with.

We stayed at this hotel after a long drive, and it was a perfect place for overnight stop! I loved the old-fashioned interior, it felt like classic hotels from the movies! The room and bed were spacious, very clean, the bathroom was good. In the morning we were able to visit Kumamoto castle castle right before checking out and continuing road trip.

The furnishings were very nice, and the free-to-borrow clothes were also excellent. Its location next to Shinotori Shopping Arcade means there’re lots of food and evening shopping options. The laundromachines were also convenient to use.
