The hotel was very close to the train station and across from a big mall. The guest lounge was excellent with tea and coffee facilities - coffee was excellent, you can even make it to go as they provide paper cups and lids. The spa bath was small but adequate. The rooms were very clean and staff were lovely.

The hotel has easy access to the main train station which allowed us to do our day trips to Nara very easily. Excellent access to city Metro. Excellent underground shopping and restaurants. The room was very nice, clean, beds were comfy. Good breakfast. But the most impressive was the incredibly helpful staff. The staff helped us obtain tickets to the World Expo and went above and beyond helping us with that. EXCELLENT STAFF!!!!!!

We are a family with a 6yo, 4yo and a 4mo baby. The hotel provided a free crib, a real one not a camping crib we usually get at hotels. The small apartment/room was very comfortable for a family. I had a microwave that fits Avent bottle sterilizator, a fridge, a freezer, a fully stocked kitchen. While we chose not to cook and mostly brought in goods from the convini (Lawson is better than 7/11 in my opinion, both are bear by) or take aqay from the station's McDonalds, Avanti's food court (right across the street) or Coco Curry. A large dining table, a spacious shower and bath and a laundry room (operated by coins) made traveling with kids a pleasant experience. We chose Kyoto station branch as we used it as base for Osaka and Nagoya too, and it made traveling around easier. For us it was a perfect location. The hotel also has a game lending library and we enjoyed several evenings playing with our kids.

    Loved how kind the staff were and the rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the free amenities too which was one first time experiencing it from a hotel. About a 10 min walk to Kyoto station which was very helpful. Just on the humid days it made the walk feel like an eternity but that’s Mother Nature for you in Japan if you visit in September! Definitely would stay at this hotel again in the future

    Amazing hotel! Room are much bigger than any hotel we stayed in Japan. The location is perfect right next to the Kyoto Station. Breakfast was fantastic, they even have matcha ice-cream! The public bath is a plus!

    The room was of a very good size when compared to other Hotels in Japan. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and completely soundproof, with direct view to the Shinkansen lines. Very good breakfast and very good location within Kyoto station.

    Location is very convenient. It’s right next to Kyoto station. I picked the hotel because the bus tour I chose picks up just on the next building - Avanti. I didn’t have to wake up earlier and travel just to meet with the tour group. Breakfast has a good sampling of continental and Asian dishes. I didn’t know sleepwear is provided in Japanese hotels. I will pack even lighter next time.

    I loved the prime location of this hotel. It was easy to walk to a lot of good restaurants and was a short walk from Kyoto station. Simultaneously, the neighborhood was very quiet. The guesthouse hosts were so friendly and attentive. The morning breakfast was very healthy and delicious. The bed was the most comfortable of my whole trip in Japan!

    The hotel was clean, and the staff were super friendly and supportive. I stayed in an apartment-style room that’s separate from the main building , very private and quiet. It was fully equipped with everything you need. The room was spacious enough for 4 people and large suitcases. It’s not far from Kyoto Station, and big shopping malls like AEON and Avanti (Just a 5–10 minute walk) If I ever visit Kyoto again, I’d definitely stay here!

    Located just across the street from Kyoto station by the east exit so very convenient if your itinerary involves getting in & out of Kyoto station. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. There are plenty of eateries around the hotel and you can always find any restaurants in Porta dining Kyoto station if you want to have something quick and decent. Several shopping malls nearby as well. Staff is very helpful & quick to respond. Hotel can hold luggages for you as well.
