There’s a family mart right across the road. The hotel has onsen on the 9th floor. You get free ice cream there. Use of laundry machines, located in both the male & female onsen is FOC. Dryer is ¥100 per half hour. You can monitor the use of these machines on your phone! There is also welcome drinks, good morning drinks, etc. Also, there is free soba for supper between 9:30pm to 11pm. Parking is convenient too.Guest review byLucilleSingapore

It feels like a Japanese inn but super comfortable as a hotel. Onsen is very nice, unfortunately because of the screens there is no view of the beautiful mountains from the bath. The wonderful staff in the kitchen work really hard to bang out a wonderful buffet which gave me an opportunity to sample lots of different Japanese cooking. Hotel is very close to Matsumoto station. Lots of convenience stores and food shops nearby so it's easy to find food just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Free breakfast is convenient and even though choices are not expansive, they taste great and is enough to get you started for the day. Matsumoto castle is a 5-10 min walk and there are many restaurants in the area. It is especially suitable for people who like to cook themselves. The kitchen is very clean and well-stocked with even a little toaster oven.
