Was very clean and well kept and the location was unbeatable. 10 min walking distance from Matsumoto station, the castle, and to the shopping and restaurant streets. This is a great place to stay if you plan to visit the mountains on a day trip. It’s super convenient and accessible location. After a long day of hiking, we’re glad we didn’t have to walk far to get to the hotel. The breakfast and drinks bar was a nice touch. The apple juice was delicious. The staff were very warm and kind, gave good recommendations and offered bicycle rental to better navigate the city. The room was clean, comfy and welcoming. The public bath was excellent, designed very nicely and you can feel the good qualities of the bath. After checkout they even gave their visitors a lift to matsumoto station ! Public bath is smaller than photos (men public bath is the one with bigger outdoor bath, not women, FYI) but otherwise super clean since shoes off before entering the hotel. Breakfast was superb (but definitely catered to more traditional Japanese taste) and don't forget to enjoy the free night noodle soup they offer, in addition to the free ice cream and yakult :) Would definitely come back again especially with convenient 5 min walk from Matsumoto station.Guest review byHeryangUnited States
