Breakfast was excellent, with fresh tempura being fried and lots of tasty Japanese dishes to try if you didn't want western. The apple juice was wonderful (a Nagano specialty). I loved the local greens (Nozawana). Being at one end of the Nagano Station was just so convenient for arrival and departure and meeting a tour. A huge buffet with all you can ask for, great coffee, and a very effective booking system that allows people to sit comfortably without waiting in line. We had a lovely view from our room, with snowy mountains. The WiFi worked perfectly. They have a free shuttle bus that goes to Nagano station hourly.
