Also, the staff was very friendly especially when checking-in and checking-out of the hotel. The room that I had felt like a modernize version of a ryokan room, but it was very clean and is perfect for a solo traveler. Good connections from the hotel, ~15 min walk to Shibuya station (or few minute walk to a station that connects to the Shibuya station). All the essentials were included (washing machine [incl. washing liquid], hairdryer, etc.). Obviously had a fancy Japanese toilet. The AC was decently powerful too (otherwise we wouldn't survive the summer weather).
