Everything was good for us. A big room, 3 beds (one for each of us), a place for the laundry, a wonderful view of the Fuji, a shopping mall close (with plenty of good restaurants), the metro station just under the hotel and the personal were nice and helpful.

We selected the hotel because of baths on the top and location close to Toyosu fish market, where we won the lottery for early morning visit (5:30am) with a guide. Great choice, the hotel was really fantastic. We arrived before lunch and they stored our luggage, so we could return to explore Tokyo city center till late evening. We returned after 9pm, just in time for baths (free of charge), then relax with ice cream (free of charge) and late evening ramen in restaurant (also free of charge). All this was very nice. Hotel is very clean, rooms perfectly prepared for us, with all what is required for a great stay. Excellent view from the room and also from the baths, especially after sunset, with all the lights of Tokyo, the bridge. The hotel 5 minutes walk from the train station and surrounding area is also nice and clean. The price we paid for all this I conciser as accurate, good value for money and if I will come to Tokyo in future, this is the hotel I will return to.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is the official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, located on the eastern side of Tokyo Bay, just 20 minutes by train from Tokyo Station.

This hotel was phenomenal! Probably the best I’ve ever stayed at. The breakfast buffet was really nice, on our Disney day we lined up a little before 6:30 so we could get in quickly, eat, and then head out to line up for Disney. We got rooms on the bay side, which had a nice view of the Ferris wheel, Tokyo Sky Tree, and on one day it was even clear enough to see Mt. Fuji! There is a shuttle bus that runs to the resort station if you have a lot of bags. The inside of the hotel is gorgeous and there’s a couple of stores with Disney items for sale. There is also a small convenience store stocking any items you may need. We were able to buy umbrellas there because it rained on the day we went to Disney. One small point, there didn’t seem to be any coin laundry machines (understandable due to the amount of guests), but there was a paid laundry service and dry cleaning. This location is cheaper than the official Disney hotels but the quality is very high. I will stay here again on future visits.
