The houses in the resort are traditional houses from different regions of Laos that have been reassembled and built into rooms with modern amenities. A kind of accommodation-museum. There was love in the air for the local culture and life, as well as for the guests. Looking at the service staff busy in the complex, you feel as if you are living in a nice village in friendly Laos. The view of the Mekong, especially at sunset, is so beautiful that you may forget to finish your coctail. Breakfast is fresh, really tasty and different every morning. The massage is great. The resort is a longer walk from the center of Luang Prabang, but the road is not friendly for walking. It's better to drive. The resort offers transportation to the city and you can easily get back. The resort also offers excursions. If Luang Prabang city vacation is interesting, one can split the time so that half at On the Mekong Resort and half in the city. We did so and were very satisfied. However, looking back, if there was only one stop to choose from, it would be On the Mekong Resort.

Just a really nice place, right in the centre of Luang Prabang. Almost next to the Mekong River, close to the main street and the night market. My room was big and clean, the private bathroom was nice, the breakfast options suited me, and it was great value. I don't think I could stay in a better place unless I paid a lot more.

The resort was close to the night market as well as the mekong river and many hotels. The garden was beautiful. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very polite and helpful.

This hotel felt very luxury! The room itself was amazing and a very good size, the bathroom was huge and the shower was hot and powerful (!!!). The bed was comfortable. We got fresh towels and water everyday. Breakfast was great, good choices (banana pancakes were the best I’ve had in all of south east Asia!). Staff were lovely! Location was great, 5ish minute walk to night market and lots of tasty restaurants surrounding.

Villa That Luangprabang it's very good location in Luangprabang city. There's near by the night market it's very easy to walk around the town, and the hotel very comfortable, room very clean and delicious breakfast with friendly staff with very helpful organised tour. I highly recommend this hotel is super nice the price not expensive I will be back again

Nice hostel near the night market. The mix dormitory has one bathroom but there are also toilets and bathrooms in the inner court so it's great. Many sinks too in the inner court (with 2 airdryers). Free water and tables and chairs to sit at the entrance so it allows people to meet and chat. Nice billiard too. The family is nice and welcoming, I recommend!

The room was lovely .High ceilings. The night market is about 5 to 8 minutes walk. Everything works smoothly in the hotel. The breakfast is good as well. Simple and nice Staff are very courteous and friendly. The room is cleaned every day. Main location. Walking distance to everywhere.

We had a lovely stay. The air con was excellent, bedroom bright and spacious, and there was good water pressure in the shower. Lovely host who was happy to help us with everything we needed. We rented a moped through the hotel, which was really easy to organise. Breakfast was generous and good quality, bonus that this was included in our stay. We would recommend La nuit de Laos to anyone looking for somewhere quiet but is central to the night market and river.
