We had a nice welcome upon checking in, and the instructions given by the front desk were very clear. We also had our own guest relations officer which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pretty awesome, I loved the selection of curries to go with the Sri Lankan breakfast items, and they even had rice congee which was a first on our trip for us. The room was veryyy comfortable and the bed was perfectly firm. There was a slight problem with the blinds in the room when we checked in, but they got it fixed within 15 minutes. I used the gym in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find barbells available which is great. The equipment is well kept and there is a good variety of machines available. The location of the hotel is perfect if you plan to do some surfing, it's easy to find a surf school just on weligama beach, steps away from the hotel. We used the spa on our last morning there and I had a good experience with the therapist and the booking of the spa session was also very seamless. Overall it was a great experience from all touch points, from the check in, to the in room service, restaurant, gym, spa, and also at check out. It's a five star hotel so of course it's going to be expensive, but worth the price if you want to have a relaxing holiday by the beach.

The property and the surroundings are just amazing, the room is new, clean and the resort has many different amenities enjoyable during the stay. What has made the staying so good was the staff, especially Mr Chandana who took promptly care of us and of any necessities we had. Great location with walking distance to the beach and main road in town. Rooms are well equipped with everything you need. There is also a fridge. If you want you can also take a hot shower. The A/C is working well and there is fan also if you dont want A/C during the night. Breakfast is just great! We loved it. We extended the stay for two more nights during our stay without any problem. The host family is verly lovely and take care of you. They help with restaurant and where to go suggestions. We would book here agsin! Thank you so much for everything!

    Great boat trip saw dolphins but unfortunately no whales, 🐳 the seas were very rough not for people who don’t have sea legs but great fun if you have. Breakfast on board was lovely and crew were great.

    Couldn't see a whale.

    Couldn't see a whale. But spotted many dolphins and pilot whales. The staff was very friendly. Provided snacks. They also gave very good /clear instructions. Also gave us lots of bags for throwing up 😂. Many were sea sick in our group!
