One of the most unique places you will ever stay - and very nice inside. Couldn't recommend more. The location inside the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou was incredible enough, but step inside the riad and it gets better. There are many well decorated and planted areas to relax, great balconies with views over the river, and large, clean rooms. You park across the river and either walk 5-10mins to the accomodation, or pay the carpark attendant for a donkey to carry the bags. The staff put on a tasty authentic dinner (for extra cost) - we had chicken tagine etc. And a BIG authentic and fresh breakfast is included. We had Berber omelette and pancakes with tea etc.. And the service is excellent with friendly staff who refuse to talk about payment until you leave and act as if it's an afterthought. Could not recommend highly enough - especially for the price! Very quaint hotel! The owner is great and helped us figure out how to visit Ait Benhaddou. Breakfast was typical Moroccan but the cappuccino tasted like authentic European!
