The name of the hotel indicates that it is close to the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral, and that is true. It takes several minutes to walk to Zócalo, Templo Mayor from here. Hotel is located in an antique building, but the facilities are in good condition and the room is clean. Under the hotel there is a ruin of Teotihuacan, the Aztec capital. Aside the dining hall we had breakfast everyday, we saw a glass floor and an open ground indoor; the ruin was there. We asked a staff and she told us that was part of the Temple of Ehécatl (God of wind) which was found in 2010. The breakfast of the hotel was rich in content. We were satisfied every morning. Moreover, all staff were warm and helpful.

The balcony where you have breakfast is simply fantastic. Staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast amazing. Free beer and snacks at the reception bar. Location unbeatable. Sounds cheesy but we could not have asked for more
