Staff are so nice at this hotel, during our stay they helped us with our bags and are always friendly. Happy to provide extra toiletries and coffee when we asked and showed us where the laundry was. We've stayed here twice now and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Hotel feels very safe as the property is gated.

The entire property was so beautiful, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well designed the hotel was. There were so many well thought out touches that added to the vibe. The room was extremely large! I got a corner room with a huge balcony. Aside from being spacious, it was also just so well decorated.

The Surrey Hotel is located within a 5-minute drive from the Auckland CBD. Guests can take advantage of the complimentary parking.

It’s very cute and quaint. The location was perfect for us next to the zoo. 24 hour reception was great and really friendly. Our rooms were a nice size, clean, and comfortable. They had secure parking lots for free. Really everything we needed. They also had a couple of washers and dryers you could use for $4 each with $2 coins. We were grateful to wash some bathing suits and towels after coming from Rotorua and flying out the next day!

I absolutely adored everything about this unique hotel. The room was large and well-equipped, the kitchen was super-cute, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the staff were fabulous and the cool decor is to die for. Cocktails in the bar were awesome and dinner downstairs in Ada was sublime!! <3

A sweet place to stay in Auckland. Our two-bedroom suite looked out over the park, with a balcony and small table that made for a great breakfast spot. The room was spacious and very comfortable for my family of four. The cafe/check-in desk was staffed with friendly, helpful people, and also offered a terrific breakfast, plus coffee throughout the day.

Very comfortable stay. Warm staffs, good bed, quite area yet great view. Room were a little bit small but very cozy and clean. There is one supermarket right next to reception, very convenient. The hotel offers breakfast package with the coffee club and tuck shop. We tried both, they both served great coffee and quality food. Btw, the hotel building is attached a public parking lot, perfect for someone who drives here. All in all, very lovely hotel with good values.
