We enjoyed all aspects of Forte de Gaia. The welcome was efficient and friendly, even before we arrived I asked for and received prompt assistance with airport transfer. The room was excellent with plenty of space for our bags and belongings, the room service was also top grade with staff checking if all was ok several times a day. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety, with views of the city from the restaurant. It was nice to relax at the pool which was heated to a nice temperature.

Caléway Hotel is set in Vila Nova de Gaia in the Norte region, 500 metres from Gaia Cable Car and D. Luis I Bridge.

Great location, efficient and friendly welcome, super clean room, great shower, could have done with a desk but there was a table which sufficed, great restaurants nearby. try Holy Sandwich Shop (for burgers, wings and cocktails), or Mistu for super elegant small plate dining - exceptional! And both 43 mins walk away.
