From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and genuinely cared for by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our comfort. A special thank you to Parisa and Mayar for making our stay unforgettable. Their warmth, impeccable attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel truly at home. Their kindness and dedication were highlights of our visit. The property itself was stunning, with immaculate grounds and beautiful decor that created a luxurious and serene atmosphere. Every corner of the hotel was beautifully maintained, adding to the overall charm. The food was also a highlight, with an exceptionally rich and delicious breakfast spread that made each morning a delight. In every way, our experience was one of complete satisfaction. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly Exceptional Stay! I had an amazing experience at Akgün İstanbul Hotel. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—with beautiful decor and all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was rich and delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options. The hotel’s location is also ideal—close to historical sites yet peaceful and relaxing. The pool and spa area were an added bonus for unwinding after a busy day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. I will definitely be coming back

    The MOST Important Pilgrimage site in all of Turkey for Muslims. Here is buried one of the closest and most important of Ansars - people of Medina who immediately converted to Islam upon hearing about Prophet PBUH. Hazrat Ayub Ansari RA is buried here. It is he in whose home Prophet Muhammad salahu alihi wasalam stayed on migration to Medina for 6 or 7 months before a house was built. Do not miss out on extremely wonderful strawberry ice cream across this place. Also, make a point to have Syrian shawarma here. There are many Syrians around.

    Try to get there on a Friday at noon, to hear the traditional Turkish band play in the square. By ferry, allow approximately 75 minutes from Eminonu (check ferry times before you go.) The surrounding market is much cheaper than in Sultanahmet.
