PolandA dreamy lodge at the edge of the Lake Mburo NP.
The rooms were gorgeous with a beautiful view over the valley. All huts are arranged to face the most scenic direction, each with a large window and a veranda for your quiet mornings surrounded by the nature.
The staff was kind and very accommodating (as a recovering extreme-budget backpacker / travelling without a car I really appreciated that they were doing their best to find solutions that would work best for me - from picking me up at the bus stop in Sanga, through helping me find a group for a safari drive to arranging me to cycle to the boat safari) - huge shout out to Carvin here who managed my stay expertly :)
The activities available were also awesome - really recommend the cycling safari in the park. I never thought I could get so close to the animals.
Breakfasts were super tasty, the rest of the meals were variable, though always made better by the view from the veranda! Also appreciated that vegetarian options were always available.
Thank you for making my stay awesome and strongly recommended for anyone considering.
