The pool area was nice. We enjoyed the location as it was near lots of things to do and places to eat. They allow pets and they do not overcharge for their pet deposit. The National Civil Rights Museum is across the street and one block over there is a great BBQ spot called Central BBQ. The zoo is only 15 minutes away and Beale street is walking distance or a short drive. Hotel for my son, a professional musician, who was attending a convention in Memphis. He was very pleased with the hotel and the friendly, helpful staff. He especially liked the rooftop--the bar and the view. The hotel was close to the convention venue and just a short walk to Beale Street.
