Loved the location. Although the hotel was kind of funky and very dated it was clean and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and our room had a nice view of Grant Park. There is a lovely bakery and a restaurant adjacent to the lobby so you didn't have to go outside. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The location was amazing. We were one block from Michigan Avenue and Grant Park. This allowed for walking to many main attractions, and also 1 block from the Red Line. Staff was exceptional with every interaction, especially Kevin the attendant who helped us with our bags.

Well, the Location is spectacular, that Lakefront/Grant Park area of Downtown Chicago offers a unique visiting experience, that contrasts the very busy North Loop/Miracle Mile local of Downtown Chicago. Our 2 rooms had adequate amenities/service .All the Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. It was very cool that many of the Staff spoke Spanish. No complaints or issues with our Beds or bedding, everything was comforting. Also, the Front Desk staff had excellent follow through with questions, requests and concerns.

Great location a few blocks from the river and Grant Park as well as several transit stops. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops. Cool views of Chicago Theater on State St. Older building but well maintained with a nice bar and restaurant downstairs.
