This is a four-star hotel with one-star service. From the moment I checked in, I was treated not as a guest, but as an annoyance to the front-desk staff, who made me wait while no one else was in line and then insulted me a number of times during check-in. When I asked if I could change from a smoking room to a non-smoking room since I am not a smoker, the employee curtly told me "no" and that I should call booking.com if I had any problems. When I asked if I could then speak with the manager, I was told, "I am the manager." In light of this bald-faced lie, I asked to speak to her supervisor nevertheless and was made to wait another ten minutes until the supervisor arrived, who proved to be equally as rude and unprofessional as she. In fact, neither he nor she offered a solution to the problem, insisting that the hotel was fully booked that night (even though available rooms were still showing on booking.com) and treating me, the newly arrived guest who had just driven 500 miles, as if I were the problem. In the end, after receiving numerous insults from both employees, I had to stay in the same unchanged smoking room; even worse, the following day, I was charged a $150 fee for checking out after 11AM. (This was in addition to the $350 I had already pre-paid for the room.) What a scam and what a terrible hotel! I will never stay here again, and I would recommend that you reconsider your choice before booking a room at this very poorly staffed hotel with serious management problems.Guest review byThomasUnited States
