AustraliaWe spent just one night here, but I wish it was more! This hotel was beautiful and had a heap of history. Despite its age, it was wonderfully refurbed and so well appointed. The room was huge, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. The shower was huge and glorious. I loved the location as well, it was easy to walk to some major monuments and museums. It was the perfect spot for our quick trip. We tried to have breakfast, but hadn't thought about the fact it was a Saturday during the Christmas holidays, so it was really busy and we didn't have time. So if you're there on a weekend, go to breakfast early! I can also highly recommend The Hamilton restaurant that was nearby. ALSO, if you want to do the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, be sure to 'book' your tickets well in advanced. While they are free, their popularity is off the chart so they ticket it.

TurkeyThe rooms were very spacious and clean, and the pillows were quite comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed, including a refrigerator. The size of the rooms exceeded my expectations. Breakfast could have offered a bit more variety, though it was still sufficient. However, it lacked some basic items such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives. The staff were very helpful . Having a shuttle to the metro station every half hour was very convenient. The hotel’s air conditioning system worked a bit too strongly, so even though we were there in July, we sometimes had to sit in the lounge with sweaters. The constant availability of tea and coffee, as well as a wide selection of herbal teas in the lobby, was a nice touch. Arlington is a very safe area, which made it easy for us to get everywhere, and it was also a beautiful and safe place for walking. We thank all the staff. In addition, the availability of a washing machine and dryer was a great convenience, especially for long trips and families with children.

Go see it up close!
Go see it up close! You can really see how tall it is and why the monument was considered the tallest building when it was first built. Didn't get to go inside, but you can sit around it (on grass or benches) and just admire the entire area. Especially on a sunny day, it is just so beautiful.
