It was an amazing experience!! Beautiful holiday decorations. Welcoming staff. Convenient to many DC treasures. (including the White House) We can't wait to stay there again. We also bought a holiday ornament of the Willard. I will always look at it with the fondest of memories.

The hotel is beautiful. So are the rooms. It is within walking distance of some very nice sightseeing places (Roosevelt island, Georgetown, you can walk to the White house and the National Mall). It was very convenient for the place we had business with. Hotel is very clean. They have all the amenities one could need. Spacious rooms, dishwasher in the room, washing machine in the corridor guests can use. Clothes iron and an ironing board!! The scenery was nice. Beds and the chair were comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would go there again.

I have been to the WH a number of times, but not this recent trip. I will never visit while Trump lives there. However, if you have never been, I suggest seeing it soon, as he intends to turn it into a gilded, golden shit hole.

A Truly Memorable Experience at the White House 🇺🇸

A Truly Memorable Experience at the White House 🇺🇸 We had the privilege of visiting the White House during the month of July, and it was truly a memorable experience. The tour was well-organized, informative, and gave us a wonderful glimpse into one of the most iconic buildings in the world. The staff and security personnel inside the White House were extremely courteous, professional, and humble. Their warm demeanor made the experience even more pleasant. A quick tip for future visitors: Do not carry any bags, backpacks, or unnecessary items with you. Only mobile phones are allowed insideeverything else is strictly prohibited, including purses and food items. Security is tight, so it’s best to travel light. Overall, it was a fantastic opportunity and an unforgettable part of our trip to Washington, D.C. Highly recommended for anyone who gets the chance!

As an Australian we were not allowed to tour the White House as our consulate are too lazy to apply for us. Americans have to apply through their congressman for permission so be aware that you just cannot turn up and request a tour like they do in the movies.!

Overall, the hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a mini-fridge that proved very useful during our stay. The beds were cozy, and room service was adequate. The flat-screen TV offered a wide selection of channels, which was great for relaxing in the evenings. The location was convenient—close to a grocery store and within a short, pleasant walk to the White House and the National Mall. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The location was great and reasonably priced for being within walking distance to the White House and local attractions. The ability to self park, in their parking garage at a reasonable rate was a huge bonus. Also, all the front desk employees were very helpful, informative, and friendly. We really enjoyed happy hour at Johnny Rockets, located in the hotel, and those employees were exceptional as well!

The hotel is historic and perfectly located near the mall. It was an easy walk to restaurants, the white house, and the Jefferson Memorial. The staff was extremely accommodating; the room was clean and more spacious than I anticipated. We will definitely return next year for our annual DC trip in August.

Hotel was well placed on 17th Street not too far from the White House and easy walk to the Mall. Plenty of great food options around the hotel with an amazing park to hang out with the locals on a hot day. Definitely would stay here again as it was so easy to enjoy the city.

The property was excellent! There was a Starbucks and a couple options for eating at the hotel itself. The staff was outstanding! Everything was so clean and smelled so good! Concierge was excellent! And the location was five blocks from the White House, a few blocks from the Smithsonian’s. Restaurants everywhere.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the entire staff was lovely and helpful. One of the questions asked is "is it family friendly" and I took my family with me, but they are all grow adults. This is an exquisite hotel and high-powered people meet here and stay here (and the proximity to the White House is excellent), so I don't believe it's suitable for small children. If you do bring children, they should be quiet and well behaved for this environment.

Love the location, cleanliness, price of this hotel. Beds are supercomfortable. James was at the front desk when we checked in and again the next morning at checkout. He was delightful. We have stayed here before and will return again. If not for the AC issue in our room it would have been highest marks for everything. Should be noted that it was an exceptionally hot day as well. This is a fairly safe area in the district close to the White House and National Theater.
