Absolutely loved the stay! After exceptionally good breakfast, I spent the morning drinking really good coffee, sitting in a comfy armchair by a fireplace, fire cracking, snow falling, the most relaxing time I had in weeks.

Fantastic stay - loved everything about it. Staff were incredibly friendly and responsive. Room and view beautiful. Breakfast substantial and fresh. Excellent stay with 2 small kids.

The Alpine Meadows Lodge is a lovely hotel in Golden. Its position is perfect for exploring most of the national parks of the Canadian Rockies, as Golden is located between the Glacier and Yoho National Parks, and it is still not far from Banff and Jasper National Parks. The hotel is built in a traditional mountain style, it is clean and very nicely made and furnished. Medha, the owner and manager, as well as the staff are superfriendly, kind, and very attentive :) There is always access to the room where you can have tea and coffee at any time of the day. It is strongly recommended as base to explore this beautiful area of Canada.

We loved our stay at Glenogle. It was in a remote location, in the mountains, very quiet and peaceful, yet a close drive to restaurants, stores and activities. The room was spacious with the most comfortable beds, a little mini fridge and en-suite bathroom. Best sleep we got on our whole trip! We had a little patio door and very much enjoyed the view from out there. Doris, the owner, welcomed us, showed us around -- she and her whole family were just lovely. We cannot recommend this place enough and would choose to come back anytime when in the area!
