AustriaThis place is a gem. The room has the basic necessary amenities, perhaps even a little more given that it is a cabin in nature. But what really over-delivers about this place is its surroundings, which are in my view not advertised as much as they should be. You are in your own personal slice of heaven. Walk 5 mins down the path from your cabin and you are at a flowing, beautiful river, with gorgeous views over Mount Robson, the Canadian rockies, and infinite forests. We even saw bears (they did not want anything to do with us, so it was all quite safe!). When we were there, there was nobody at the few spots near the river allocated for campers, so maybe this is why it felt so idyllic, but even if there had been more people it would have been wonderful. The peace, quiet, nature were all highlights, and so was the extreme kindness of the owner, who talked us through things like food options, his favourite hikes, etc. (thank you for the recommendations!!).
