The property was located on the quiet and chilled Isla Cristobal. The grounds of the property itself were beautiful with a pool overlooking the water, a huge garden with plenty of seats and hammocks and a restaurant/bar for meals and games. The hosts are very friendly and you are very well looked after from the start with very good communication assisting with arrival to the accommodation and carrying cases, wonderful drinks and smoothies (the best I had in all of Panama!) at a very competitive price and a wonderful 3 course dinner which was delicious. The included breakfast was also delicious, the pancakes were perfectly cooked. They also offer excursions that feel very different to the normal tour excursions for e.g. they take you themselves in their boats to see the dolphins in dolphin bay at a time where no other tour groups are operating. They also offer Kayaks to use free of charge and there is a coral reef you can access from the property for snorkeling. There are only ever two rooms on the property so it is very chilled and relaxing - an amazing opportunity to unwind, disconnect and enjoy the surroundings. And a special mention to the care and attention provided by the hosts who built the property themselves. We would definitely stay again.

The location is amazing, you can really be so close to nature. Pure relax and rest. Staff super nice and friendly, delicious food. We love this place and hope to come back there one day.

The host is super nice , it is like living at home . She took care of everything. The view of the room is freaking amazing. I did not expecting something so amazing in this trip ! Btw the host cook amazing as well . That area since there is no much business , u can see many coral just by the dock , we paddle out and the view is so relaxing..

Our stay at playa bluff hotel was amazing, one of our best hotel during travel in Costa Rica and Panama. It is right in front of the beautiful beach. The bedrooms are big and really comfortable and clean + hot water. The food was really good and tasty, good breakfast too. The team of playa bluff hotel are so nice and helpful, especially Anthony, one of the new manager. He made our stay wonderful. It’s an eco hotel, not right in the center but there is a lot of taxi and shuttles to the center. A really peaceful stay ! Thank you for everything!!

The couple welcomed us with great availability throughout our stay. We received an exceptional and varied breakfast every morning that exceeded our expectations. We were extremely satisfied. I have just finished my stay at Jungle Paunch and I really want to go back. Maxi is a great host, be will do everything to make you feel comfortable and help with whatever you need. Inside the cabins you will find the story of how Jungle Paunch was built and it is simply inspiring; a true eco lodge. the surroundings are magnificent and you can hear not only all the sounds of the jungle, but also the waves crashing in the sea very close by. an extraordinary experience, with regular visits from many animals! There is also a higher platform on the property that is excellent for meditating in the early morning and late afternoon! the Paunch area is very quiet, and Bluff beach - one of the owners’ passions - is well worth the visit. I couldn't recommend this place more. Thank you so much Maxi and Jane for your inspiring work!

The tranquility of the place was wonderful. It's a 30 min or so boat ride from Bocas Town which is what we wanted since Bocas Town has turned into nothing but a party town with extremely loud music till 3-4 in the morning mid week thru the weekend. So it was wonderful. The staff were exceptional and friendly. Alondra went above and beyond for anything we needed. The food was amazing and fresh. They set up dinner each night on our patio for a nice quiet and intimate dinner. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!
