La FInca Lodge is a perfect place to calm down and relax on the countryside. The rooms are huge and have a big bathroom and a nice hammock to forget about your everyday life. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and had many recommendations for activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious and served on a nice outdoor terrace. The property of the finca itself is huge, there is a lot to explore. A highlight outside the finca were the blue falls, which were recommended to us by one of the staff members.

Staff was really helpful , the night tour was really interesting .

The room was clean and spacious. It has balcony to see the volcano. The lodge has hiking trails. I enjoyed two day solo walk. Well maintained and easy to walk, except river trail. I met only few people on the trail and i was able to enjoy the solitude. I appreciate Greivin at reception helping me to arrange transportation to Mistico to La Fortuna town.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Lovely place immersed in the nature! Very safe also for female solo travel, even if it’s a bit isolated. The tent is really functional and it’s like a proper room with all comforts. I had a lovely time also with Felix and the cows that live in front of the tent. It was a blessing to wake up in the nature like that! And it’s in front of a volcano!

They are exceptional hosts who make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. It's clear how much effort, love, and passion they pour into everything they do. They take the time to genuinely connect with their guests and go above and beyond to cater to individual needs. The meals are a highlight—delicious, healthy, and hearty, made with fresh ingredients sourced directly from their garden. Every bite feels homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The lodge itself is a stunning blend of a forest and a botanical garden, teeming with wildlife, especially birds. It's a nature lover's dream. I highly recommend the night tour with Jay—it’s an unforgettable experience. Nohelia is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and Costa Rica as a whole, always ready to offer helpful tips and advice. One thing to note: the lodge is accessible only with a 4WD vehicle, as the last 3 kilometers of the road are quite rough. However, the journey is absolutely worth it. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Ecolodge Cecropia. If I could, I’d rate it 200%. Nohelia and Jay are truly wonderful hosts, and they’ve created a magical place that’s not to be missed.

Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge & Wildlife Refuge has an on-site restaurant serving local dishes and regional cuisine. This was the best and most amazing place I ever stayed !! The little house was very cute, middle of the jungle, fully with the animals ! The people where so friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the property was delicious and the night walk we did there was incredible. Loved it and already miss it

Poll and hot tub and ice maker was a hit. One of the nicest rentals I have stayed at.
