Location was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Lodge was very well equipped and spacious. Patio area provided great views over the countryside and friendly Alpaccas were grazing the fields. Easy walking distance to local village. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again we all loved it.
Great for a visit to the safari park. Hotel was comfortable we had a family room with two small children and it was fine for a very short stay.
We travelled out of Sheffield to find a reasonable price. eg, A travelodge was £39 for the Sunday night and would have cost £131 for the Monday night. Not a fair pricing for family travel to attend a funeral.
Great place, close to popular eateries. Best thing is it’s walkable to the sports field that is close to the tram that can take you anywhere. It’s very quiet and pleasant. £6.50 for continental breakfast is a bit costlty knowing Travelodge over the road does a cooked unlimited breakfast for £9 across the road.
The lady at check in was great, very friendly. The hotel was easy to get to on the bus which stopped right outside. the room had plenty of tea and coffee, also biscuits which you don't get in a Travelodge or Premier inn. The room was clean and well maintained, no pictures on the website of the room I got which was a little compact with no view or much light, this didn't affect me too much.
Fantastic hotel. More like a one room personal lodge than hotel room. Tram nearby. Room very comfortable and clean. Everything you could need supplied. Staff very helpful and authentic Yorkshire friendliness. 10/10
The location was spot on 😊 Very clean infact much cleaner than some Travelodges I have stayed in .
Beautiful lodges in gorgeous surroundings and gardens.
