The owners were super nice to give us a second cottage at a friendly price because the 2 bed room one was allready booked. On top, they allowed us to stay till 4PM as we had an unforeseen issue with out car. We will certainly come back!

Very quiet and peaceful. We would have liked to have stayed a bit longer to go on walks and explore the valley. Very good restaurant on site where we booked a delicious dinner and had a good breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

Isafjordur Airport is 225 km from the property. It's a really nice place, calm, everything necessary was there, very comfortable and a great location.

Reykjavík Domestic Airport is 102 km from the property. Such a wonderful place, and very friendly host. We didn’t know it was a horse breeding farm, but the kids were so happy when they found out. We loved the area. It’s remote, and our navigation system led us the wrong way first, but it was so worth it. 😀😀😀😀

The lodge offers a terrace. The view is amazing, the cottage is right next to the sea, overlooking kirkjufell. What I must acknowledge is that our van got stuck in snow drift, because the wind the night before was crazy, CRAZY, and the owner helped us get our van unstuck. It wasn’t easy and he didn’t even know if it was going to work, but thankfully it did. That’s why I’m giving them the best rating.
