We were only booked for one night (Sept. 15/23) and arrived after dark, which was a real shame as we found out the next morning when we woke up to the incredible views from the balconies of our 'tents'! And even though we got there after the dinner sitting, the staff were so welcoming and they had kept the kitchen open for us and accommodated our request for a lighter meal than planned. The manager, James Ndung'u and his entire staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely happy to have us stay with them. The rooms/tents are second to none with all the conveniences of home. A children's playground is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. The owners were super friendly and they waited for us to arrive. The place is beautiful and extremely close to the park gate.

They went out of their way to make sure we everything. Especially Charles! He went over and above, Mary at the restaurant as well.
