Landed here as a result of cutting another unsatisfactory hotel stay short. Wish we'd booked here for several days. Gorgeous setting, fantastic cottage lodging on a rice paddy field. Kind, attentive family and excellent foods for breakfast and dinner. An excellent, convenient location to plan outings from as well.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya. Rain Forest Mount lodge is located opposite the main Pitadeniya entrance to the Sinharaja Rain Forest. This place is just amazing, surrounded by nature. The view from our room was stunning! The hosts are so welcoming and they also arranged a beautiful trekking in the rainforest. Fresh and homemade breakfast

The hosts are amazing!! It's run by two brothers on their parents' tea plantation. The two brothers are helpful, caring, polite, and very eager to show you around in their village. And I will absolutely encourage you to let them show you around. Their mum makes the most delicious meals, better than any restaurants I've visited during my 3 weeks stay. The little house has a beautiful view of the rain forest. I really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony drinking coffee. It's a kettle in the room so you can have coffee or tea whenever you like to. They also arranged a walk in Sinharaja for me, it was a very nice walk, about 4 hours. We didn't see a lot, so if you're interested in birds, I will recommend doing some of the longer hikes. And even go in another gate than the closest one.

Offering free WiFi and a garden, The Whitegates Lodge is located in Midigama, 6 km from Ahangama. Galle is 26 km away. Free private parking is available on site. All units include a seating area. Best place we stayed at. Comfortable bed, fridge in the room and shared kitchen you can use, good airco, quiet, unbelievable breakfast, very sweet host,… everything you need. Thank you so much, deffenitly recommend staying here if you have the chance!

The owners and staff are so kind. The tour of Sinharaja park that she arranged for us was great as well. Food is mostly homemade vegetarian curries, but they have a small menu and will make you other food if you ask. Such a peaceful place to recharge and just spend time in a beautiful, serene location.

Featuring a sun terrace, Subhasha Summer House is a double situated in Kottagoda in the Matara District Region. The unit is 47 km from Galle. Free private parking is available on site. Subhasha is a special place.I booked it as a treat for my wife's birthday and I'm so glad I did. Isuru is an excellent host, very responsive and flexible. The home was very clean, tidy and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at Subhasha.
