We really enjoyed our activities and the guides were all really knowledgeable and well prepared and made our experiences unique. Overall, we liked the food (some meals better than others) because we got to try several different typical Amazonian dishes and we appreciated the high quality and freshness of the ingredients, including different kinds of fresh juice every day. We also appreciated the free water refills and coffee always available. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable (we got lucky and never had a single mosquito/bug in our room). The staff is friendly and very attentive to any needs, from the airport pick up and drop off, to any requests during the stay. Totally recommended - I guess that less positive reviews are due to the fact that some inconveniences (eg., no hot water, bugs, dark at night etc) are just part of being in the jungle itself and perhaps not everybody's cup of tea, but for us it wasn't a problem as we wanted to have a real experience of this kind.

Rooms are comfortable with electricity 3 times per day. Bathrooms are shared and provide an eco-friendly toiletries kit. Fascinating experience. We were assigned a guide Savon, who grew up in the area and was a certified tour guide. He created our itineraries for each day. With his help, we saw all kinds of animals in the jungle, and took pictures through his man ocular. The night tour was most fascinating. There are so many unusual insects!  Thank you Savon! We also liked at the pace, wasn't too intense, and there was plenty of time to relax. Food was very good. All three meals. Much more food than we needed. I appreciated the coffee being available early .  The property is beautifully furnished and designed. With local woods. Very comfortable. Enjoy the hammocks.. Had a massage that was exquisite. This is an experience. That's worth every penny!

Very easy access and very friendly for early arrivals that you could checkin immediately and start your venture to the jungle as soon as possible. We had wonderful two days there that everything was beyond my expectations. The suite with balcony to river views were superb, very comfortable and I could stay there all day. The staffs there were friendly and welcoming. The inclusive activities were well organised and interesting! I would love to comeback.

The rooms and bungalows provide rustic comfort, with dark wood floors and furniture. Each comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries, and forest or oxbow lake views. There is also a fan. Excursions were excellent and part of what makes the experience of the stay. The food was decent quality and the hotel was very generous with its meals. The seats outside of the rooms were nice to look at surroundings. Bed was massive and comfy.

An outdoor swimming pool with views of the river can be enjoyed in Wasai Puerto Maldonado Eco Lodge, 100 meters from the Main Square. Canoe trips can be booked and all rooms feature views of the river. There is free WiFi in public areas. The hotel is high-class, right by the main square and the bridge, but in a very quiet location with a view of the river and jungle. We had an excellent room with a large balcony, very spacious and with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price-quality ratio is good. There is a small pool, a bar. Highly recommended.
