We really enjoyed our time at Tugela River Lodge. There’s so many things to do within the property like kayak, mountain bike, trails, and little farm area. It’s very clean and the staff and owner are super friendly and always willing to assist. The farm stall has a lot of supplies, so if you forget anything you wouldn’t even need to drive out. Very pet friendly as well - everything we could do with our little mini dachshund. She loved her time there and the fenced off area is big and safe. The wood-fired tub is an amazing way to wind down. The view is amazing and Bheki always comes to help fire it up ahead of time. All in all a fantastic experience as a couple, and I’m sure it’d be lovely for a family and friends group too!

Beautiful location with stunning views and nice walking trails. The cabins were very cosy. At night it got quite cold, but there was a fireplace in the bedroom and the staff put warm water bottles in the beds. The meals were great and so were the staff and the dogs! We had a great time here, highly recommended!

The Montusi Mountain Lodge is really beautiful. The lodge is beautifully located and elegantly designed. We enjoyed the scenic view so much. The bungalows are well maintained. It was really cozy in there. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast & dinner was the best we have had in ZA so far. We wish, we could have stayed longer!

Entouré de verdure, le Winterton Lodge @ Rose Cottage dispose d'une pataugeoire. We had such a relaxing stay at Winterton Country Lodge. The room was so thoughtfully and elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the many extra blankets, the aircon & the electric blankets that kept us warm on the chilly nights. It was also lovely and quiet since the rooms are far off the road. There are generous common spaces and a large tv in the common lounge across from the bar that the owner said could be opened until 9pm. We also loved the freshly made breakfast. We’ll definitely be back the next time we come hiking in the Drakensberg!

Such a lovely gem on a beautiful farm. The owners are such good people. We had car trouble on the way there and Jenny didn't hesitate to offer us assistance in driving us 40mins to the nearest car hire company. They really did go above and beyond to make us comfortable, even through such a stressful event. The farm and units are clean, comfortable and very well equipped. I would definitely go back anytime.

Excellent Host and accommodation in a beautiful area. The location is perfect, a little off for a very peaceful atmosphere. The house is huge and offers everything necessary for a great stay.
