We spent two wonderful days at the Chakana Hotel Boutique. The room The room was very clean and plenty of towels and shampoos were provided. The food We had breakfast in the small dining room (muesli, eggs, bread, cheese, coffee and tea), and dinner once - what a treat! Traditional food and a fermented maize drink - all very tasty and lovingly prepared. We were also allowed to help ourselves to the teas and fruits in the tea room at any time - and to fill up our bottles at the water filter. There were also teas against altitude sickness. Information Awki, the friendly gentleman at the reception, gave us lots of tips for Quito and the surrounding area. Always friendly and helpful, he also gave us some interesting tips for the rest of the planning of our trip. And he organised that our lost backpack was delivered to the hotel - something the airline couldn't manage even after two days. Thanks again, Awki! The wonderfully indigenously decorated Chakana Hotel Boutique gave us a warm welcome and more than exceeded our expectations.

The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was great and the bathroom supplies were more than enough. The room service food was quick and delicious. The staff were helpful and there was even a fresh rose in the room.

    Clean, spacious and great decor. 24/7 coffee and tea making facilities. Food at the restaurant was excellent! Restaurant staff - her name might have been genesis, instead of simply handing us the menu she took the time to explain our food options. Dessert was so delicious and the chef kindly gave us extra chocolate to take with us because we liked it so much. We left our luggage there for a two day trip to Tena.
