Location was where we wanted to be close to longleat BUT you couldn’t go and walk any where as road to busy also very very noisy early morning !

Loved the area. Vert friendly. Breakfast way to generous. Unfortunately room noise insulation was poor. Only fault we could find.

Our stay out of 10 was an 11! Had an absolutely super stay, owners & all staff so friendly who could not do enough for you. 😊 So welcoming & made to feel very at home to the point you do not want to leave! 😉 Fantastic breakfast, certainly the best I have ever experienced. Before dragging ourselves away had a coffee & sat & chilled out in their lovely garden. We will certainly return. Highly recommend a stay here. Thank you so very much guys 😘 xxx

The weekend that we spent at Rook Lane House yielded one delightful surprise after another. Topping them all was the welcome received from a host with a fabulous feel for all that you could want to make a stay special and memorable. This found a lovely echo in the charm and grace of the house itself, and the fascination of the history that comes with it. The restoration is superbly sympathetic, but with all mod. cons. laid on, creating some suitably stylish (and spotlessly clean) spaces in which to sleep and shower - and savour, moreover, a mouthwateringly delicious breakfast.

Love this place, the owner spent great effort to prepare a wonderful home for the visiting guests. Fantastic and fully recommended if you are visiting to Bath but prefer to stay outside of the busy tourists centric place inside of Bath. Would love to go back there again.
