First of all, it's a tent. If you're looking for upscale luxury, this obviously probably isn't the best option. Staff was very friendly, bathroom facilities nice and clean. It froze -6 C the night we stayed, so unfortunately there was no running water in the morning as the plumbing had frozen over. The heater helped a lot. It costs a little over $20 including taxes, and comes with a propane cylinder that lasts about 4 hours. It is possible to purchase extra propane. The views and the quietness are spectacular.
Accommodation was a lovely pine cabin, it had a wonderful fresh pine smell and while basic was adequately equipped with a comfortable bed, aircon , fridge, microwave and screens on all windows to keep any bugs out. Certainly not 5-star luxury, you are in the middle of the desert, but clean and well maintained. The setting is like no other, you can sit on the porch and watch the sun go down and take an early morning stroll to the rim of the Grand Canyon - what is there not to like?
Location superb Restaurant manageress provided outstanding customer service - credit to the company
It was very good and the staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful! 5 stars
You really need to rethink the rating you gave this place. I would not rate it 2 out of 5 stars. I darn near want to demand a refund. It's a total dump, I have tons of pictures and videos of the 3 differnt rooms I was in as I was moved twice because of the other rooms were faulty. I would not recommend this place to anyone and it totally ruined my trip to Tombstone. The wife's bucket list and she was not happy.
We loved the concept of luxury camping in a remote location just 20+ minutes from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We had the Deluxe Tent with a Private Bathroom which I highly recommend. The room/tent was a good size clean, and the bed /linens were very comfortable. It was fun having a wood burning fireplace in the room and as it was chilly that night it provided the perfect amount of warmth to the room. And the star gazing was incredible!
The staff is the only thing I’ll give 5 stars. Everyone was nice and welcoming.
the pool, hot tub and on-site restaurant were quite pleasant. We enjoyed the luxury suite, size of room and the location. The staff at the restaurant were incredible along with the food. The suite was clean and spacious and we loved the southwestern decor and fireplace. My husband enjoyed the jacuzzi in the large bathroom. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet; we even sat on the deck at sunset and listened to the night sounds.
