The staff were really helpful. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The local facilities are great Westport appears to be a fishing town that provides realky well for visitors and the views at sunset amazing.

It’s hard to pinpoint the precise reason for being fond of a particular hotel. Call it atmosphere, or character perhaps. For me, this hotel is a sweet reminder of the way things were long ago, when it was common for hotels to provide temporary homes for ordinary people, as well as providing for travelers. I'm glad I found out before I arrived that we were to check in at a neighbor hotel. It certainly saved time. The rooms were very small but it sufficed for what we needed. We used the sofa bed and the kids said it was comfortable. They thought the sheets were damp but it was just the humidity from being on the coast. The sleeping areas and the bathroom was clean. I was particularly impressed by how up to date the bathroom was.
