A variety of yukata robes are available for rent, and free parking is on site. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious and the baths so soothing. The hike up a sacred mountain right outside the door was inspiring.

All rooms have traditional shared bathing facilities; Superior rooms include a private toilet. Absolutely gorgeous setting, friendly staff, lovely room, swimming pool, great walks, fabulous food.

The onsen is absolutely top notch, with a large hot bath, two small outdoor baths that were slightly hotter, a cold bath (rare for Japan!) and a sauna for women (only place that I've had one! Other hotels incluse saunas for men but not women). Ameneties were great, room was compact but very well designed, location was excellent. One of our best hotels during our three week trip in Japan. Staff was also really friendly and personable. You don't wear shoes inside of the hotel (there are shoe lockers) and that is so, so nice. Perfect stay! Arigato gozaimasta from Amsterdam!! 🇳🇱🇯🇵

Glad that I saw the reviews about the dinosaurs at the front desk or else I would be having surprises. The front office is self serve with automated machines. But the price is good . Breakfast hall got nice Seaview. But choices not many. Very simple. But sufficient. They give hotel guests discount on the nearby parking lot. Make sure you get it done on the lobby machine.
