I stayed 4 nights and went traveling with people I met in the Guesthouse. Very nice overall experience, the only place on my long trip I actually felt close to home.

All the staff were incredibly kind, and since the place wasn’t too crowded, it was perfect for enjoying the onsen at a relaxed pace. Being close to the airport also saved us travel time, allowing us to make the most of our trip. The kaiseki dinner was beautifully plated and full of care, with both the presentation and flavors being exceptional. This was my first trip with my mom, and we had such a wonderful time together. I would love to visit again in the future with my dad, mom, sibling’s family, and my husband.

All rooms have traditional shared bathing facilities; Superior rooms include a private toilet. Amazing traditional ryokan with a beautiful garden and super caring staff. Very goos kaiseki dinner and traditional breakfats were very tasty and plentiful. It has hot mineral water source onsen (traditional male/female room separation) and it is open practically 24 hours! So you can go there really at any time you like, even at night, and relax. It almost never happened to us that there were more than 3 people at once and you get to enjoy the beautiful garden view from the onsen all by yourself. The garden is very well cared for and has a careful selection of flowers/trees that make the place photohenic from absolutely every angle. We visited at spring and it was full of roses and cherry blossoms. The rooms overlook the garden it's just really breathtaking.

When we come from Kansai airport, we get down at Shin-imamiya and just a short walk to reach hotel. If wan nearer, can get down at tengachaya and transit to Ebisucho station. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Public bath was good. Cultural event for kids at evening, free ramen, free ice cream, all variety of wine, beer & cocktails are excellent..
