For more relaxation, it has a sauna and a games room, while massages can be arranged. Exceptionally clean hotel, even by Japanese standards. Staff was excellent in all aspects. Overall, a high end Onsen hotel that we’re glad we stayed at.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of a garden. Pacifico Surf House Mountain is one of the best accommodations we had on our trip. The mini house is very well and thoughtfully constructed. As is almost always the case in Japan, all the utensils such as hairdryers, shower gel, toothbrushes etc. are provided. These are of particularly high quality (eco/organic) here. The beds under the roof are very comfortable and you sleep excellently. To fall asleep, you can watch the stars through the skywindow. The surroundings are very quiet. Everything is quiet, so you can relax on the terrace. Ryota, the owner, offers free bicycles that are great for exploring the area. If you want, you can also book surfing and stand-up paddle with Ryota. The water is perfect for this and still warm enough at the end of October.

Loved the six hours of self service drinking with a great selection of alcoholic beverages. The included buffet breakfast was well above expectations. The natural hot spring bath was wonderful too!

Room is very spacious with an open onsen on verandar. You can enjoy private bath while birdviewing the whloe valley. Total 2 public onsen, the very special one is located in the bottom of the valley, can only arrive via cable car, a very special expericen: drive the cable car by yourself, feel the so so so natural onsen. Once in a life time... All staffs are very helpful & experienced. Food is tasty and innovative. All perfect!

Excellent position near the Station. Excellent staff. One Staff member even helped us place our next destination in the GPS Which was in Japanese. She was so helpful. I wish I asked her name.

Set in Higashimiyoshi in the Tokushima region, 美濃田の淵キャンプ村 offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to an open-air bath. The property features river views. When staying at the campground, guests can use private entrance. We stayed in a self-service cabin with a bathroom and it was very beautiful. Once you enter the cabin you smell the tatami mats, and it feels like you're in a Studio Ghibli film. Despite being in nature, there is a convenience store a short walk away. Note that you have to take away your waste and there are no bins on site. Towels are not provided but can be requested for a small additional fee. This is all explained by the owner prior to arrival.

The ryokan also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Bit outdated but that’s exactly what you’ll get in the middle of nowhere. However, staff, food and hot spring is nice and nearby river is a good place to go for BBQ in summer. If you are looking for place where the time stops, this is where you want to go.
