The old town is easy to walk around (though the old town of Gjirokaster is on a hill for those that are infirm). You can drive your car to the hotel where there is free parking. The hotel itself is lovely with a large and characterful room and a very welcome swimming pool. The owners and staff are were very welcoming and helpful - they were great. The hotel's location is excellent for exploring the city on foot. There are free parking spaces and a large paid parking lot near the hotel. The apartment is on a hill about 15 min walking distance from the old town. Free parking lots available. It's a quite area. The apartment has great features, kitchen incl.
