The location of this hotel was a bit disappointing. At least a 15 minutes walk along a busy road. The hotel was comfortable but lack a personal touch. Breakfast was good but when we asked for hot food we were told only eggs were available and on our second day realised we could have had a different hot food choice. Found this very strange and staff on our first morning were quite unhelpful. An ok stay!!

    This is a small family run hotel, so it’s a good idea to phone in advance and notify of arrival time. They helped us book a table for dinner and left us the room keys in a safebox outside the hotel. Breakfast was good. There’s a small dedicated parking lot behind the hotel in a back street with a back door into the hotel.

    However we didn't cook, but I loved the fully equipped kitchen in this apartment. Also liked the communication before arrival we got all the necessary information even about the free parking possibilities. Adorable old city view from the window. I recommend it.

    the location is superb, located in the town center, feeling relax and peaceful, different kinds of restaurants could be found near the hotel. The hotel is right below the abbey. Wifi connection is stable, althought they don't have private parking, but there are many street parking places avaliable right in front of their hotel, free parking from 6pm to next morning 8am during weekday, and also free on Saturday afternoon and Sunday all day.

    The apartment is in a vintage building very close to the city center. It very nicely decorated and it was very convenient to have two bathrooms with showers (not also toilets though). The fact that they provide free parking comes handy as there is no other parking space in the area. The view of the apartment right to the Melk Abbey is quite great!

    Superb location, one flight of steps down to the main street in the old city and easy five minute walk from the free parking lot. Rooms were very modern in a lovely old building and were super clean, comfortable, large shower and basic kitchen and all worked well. Short term parking in front of hotel for luggage quick drop nowhere near as daunting as some reviews suggest.
