This is a very special place. Mike the owner says it has a special energy. For us it was a place of peace and harmony with nature. The sunrise over the river, go for a swim, in the morning mist with the sounds of the jungle - unbelievable! In the afternoon the howler monkeys roam the treetops over the small complex. Everything is laid out very sustainably and the fabulous cook spoiled us with local food and a breakfast of our choice. We'll be back - Mike, big hug! This property exceeded my expectations! A gorgeous, lush area with beautiful grounds to walk (and see so many amazing birds!), a fantastic common area to spend time in and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Staying here at Nabitunich with Dominic and Rebecca was like staying with family. I’m already planning my return trip in a year or two.

The property was spotless and had lovely touches like coffee,sugar and even paper kitchen towel. Leda the property manager was so helpful and friendly as were all the cleaners and Abby the maintenance man . Had almost everything we needed. Quite central to the town and we even had food delivered. The Air con was very welcomed too as well as the ceiling fans. There is a small roof top pool with outside table and chairs and towels to use for the pool. We would book again without a doubt. We felt very secure with it being within surrounding wall and punch code lock to doors. Also we made use of the safe.

Owner met us on arrival and was very helpful letting us know about the property facilities. The location was great, very easy to get to local restaurants and shops, and also very handy for the Mayan attractions nearby. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of staying in this delightful bungalow in Belize, and it was an absolute dream. Beautifully designed and tastefully furnished. The owner welcomed us to her little slice of paradise and truly left no detail overlooked. Although the location is slightly removed from the city center, the owner provided helpful details and recommendations for reliable taxi services and food delivery options, making it easy for guests without a car to enjoy their stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this charming retreat to anyone visiting Belize.

Absolutely loved our stay - this is a slice of paradise! Larry and Melanie were some of the best hosts we’ve ever had, they’re proud of the Belizean culture and history and we learnt so much from Larry while eating Melanie’s amazing meals. We basically stayed on site for the 3 nights we were there. We booked our tours through Larry and had the best tour guides Francis and Dan! Both so knowledgeable and caring. Definitely make sure eat at least once at this place, it was great! The place: We stayed in the biggest one bedroom unit. Beds are great quality, super comfortable and sturdy. The bathroom was really big which had a beautiful shower with a wee jungle view. While the pressure is a little low, it had a big enough shower head that we didn’t mind at all. Hot water everyday! The bath was amazing after a long day of walking. A big balcony with a hammock that overlooks the pool was a delight especially when it was raining. Beautiful walk down to the river where we saw toucans flying around. Saw a howler monkey for dinner and a gibnut lounging at the back of the property. Thank you Larry, Melanie and team for the memories 🙏
