The hotel is located in a very central area. The room are very good. Perfect for two. The hotel looks like new / renovated and it is a special place. The service is great. They organised for us the trip to Hanging temple and the a Buddhas. Honestly we could not ask more.

We received a warm welcome and stayed in a charmingly furnished bedroom with all the comforts. Breakfast was freshly prepared. They also arranged a driver to visit the grottoes and the hanging temple. He also introduced us to the Datong cuisine. We enjoyed the excellent service.

The place is magical and we got exactly what was advertised. It was very quiet although it is in the middle of town. The stuff was very friendly. Breakfast was exceptional and you definitely get enough to last you through the day.

Very friendly staff. It is close to the bus stops to the train stations (rmb 2), museum (rmb 2), and the famous cave (rmb 10 one way), interesting eatery catering to locals (all in Chinese but mostly with pictures), and the old town (15 minutes).

The room was very clean and modern. Well thought out design with well placed lighting and power receptacles. Also appreciated the fact the floors are laminate flooring. Much easier to clean and avoid the dirty carpet syndrome of other hotels
