The host and the housekeeper were incredibly informative. The house keeper communicated through translation but her warmth and friendliness needed no translation and we were looked after incredibly well. Between them, they organised all our transport, advised us on the best places to visit and the housekeeper cooked us the most delicious breakfast which fortified us to do a 2.5 hour hike on the Great Wall of China. I would stay here every time if I was wanting to visit the wall and even just as a beautiful place to relax.

The owners are really kind and helpful! Although they don't speak any English, we could communicate using translator apps and had no problems with that. Definitely good cost-benefit. Hopefully I can stay there again and visit the Great Wall one more time <3 Thank you for everything!

Excellent Hostal, welcoming hospitality and very clean, highly recommended if you coming here it’s a good place to meet others and do the great wall together. If you staying more than a night there is the water town 10m taxi away and its Nice to visit too.

Sue and Jack were really helpful, trying there best to make our stay the best as possible (weather conditions was bad). I warmly recommend you to visit them. And the Great Wall close by is pretty cool to walk on. Also, excellent food prepared by Sue!!

Perfect way to visit the Great Wall of China. They really looked after us, picking us up and dropping us off from the bus as well as driving us back and forth to the entrance point. They also arranged our tickets for us. Room was perfect and meals were SO good! Would really recommend this way to visit. It made it memorable and special for us.

Beautiful area, easy to get to from station (walk down the wooden stairs) Host is absolutely amazing and speaks good English ! Definitely would recommend this place
