I personally liked the fact that there was a bustling pub environment. It felt authentic and quintessentially British. I can't speak for all reviewers but I feel like the room offered to me was relatively clean - and I found the bed and bathroom comfortable. For the price it was unbeatable. The patrons of the pub were very nice and welcoming, proud of their local area and happy to chat even though I was a tourist. Recommended I see the church with the 13th century spire.

    Location was easy to find, in the middle of the town centre with lots of shops and pubs around. Ample free parking behind the accommodation. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice, plentiful and very tasty. Room was comfortable, albeit small. Bed was comfy and tea/coffee facilities in room. Food in the pub underneath was lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly too :-) Would stay again if in area.

    Despite an error in the initial booking, the manager was able to change us to a double room instead of a twin which we had been mistakenly put in. Free parking was great and the World Resort Arena was only a 15 minute taxi journey away

    Friendliness of staff. Staff were very helpful & accommodating as needed to check in early to get room key, so we could get in at the end of the evening. Wasn't very far from wedding reception, so ideal for overnight stay. Free parking in a safe car park.
