We were upgraded to a larger room with four poster bed as business was quiet on a rainy Monday in January. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Pub was quiet but had a good choice of drinks and food, although no evening meals served on Mondays or Tuesdays. A break we really needed. Would like to visit in winter and get the fire going. Hosts were super helpful from booking to end. Will come back again I hope.
