I recently stayed at this charming hotel. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits and bread. The location was great, close to the Cubar Edge. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.​

Very cosy, clean studio; 10 min walk from amazing pub (top 10 in Britain). Area is very nice and close to Bakewell and other spots. Loved the sheep theme, it was very cute. Self check in was very easy.

From the moment I booked the team at Merchants Yard went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible stay. Nothing was a problem for them, organising flowers as we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary, booking a table for dinner, offering advice on things to do near by and much much more. On check in the team were brilliant, friendly welcome and a complimentary drink (thank you). Throughout our stay the team were amazing, always happy and made sure we had everything we needed. Brilliant 👏👏

The friendliness of all the staff from arriving to checking out. Location Room was lovely able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the evening sun. We ate in the resteraunt good choice inc gf excellent food. Last minute booking for us, so glad we chose this one. The breakfast is bookable on arrival excellent value all cooked to order couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend definitely would stay here again.

    The hotel is very quaint. It's old and charming. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent, which was a surprise for a hotel that is quite out of the way. There is walk from the back of the hotel up a hill and well worthwhile. The back garden area is lovey. Good bathrooms. Parking across the road.
