The hotel is located in a small, beautiful and quite village, very close to the city of York. The accommodation was well, and the staff was friendlly. The restaurant of the hotel is the best. It is a great atmosphere, with live music and amazing food. If you can, make a reservation for dinner, as it is crowded.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when checking in. The area that the accommodation is in was very rural and quiet, we felt very safe there. The owner was extremely friendly, and our accommodation was amazing. Our only regret was bringing our own food and not leaving room for food from the pub! It looked/sounded lovely. We'll definitely be back for the parmo!

    Stayed over one night. Easy parking right outside our room. The room was comfortable and had all facilities we needed. Dinner and breakfast were both really good, and the decor / ambience in the dining room was great. Would definitely stay again.

    Excellent location for visiting family in the area, with plenty of secure parking. Rooms well thought out and finished to a high standard. Spacious bathroom and room making it ideal for a longer stay. We had a room facing the garden and it was super quiet. Restaurant was busy and food very good.
