1A Market place is a fabulous little cottage in the heart of Tideswell. It has enough space to relax and enjoy the local area. The kitchen is well equipped. The lounge is cosy, the bathroom is lovely and the beds very comfy. The second bedroom is small. The layout of the cottage is quite quirky and we really enjoyed staying here for our long weekend. The heating was easy to operate and we were all very cosy for our February stay. The host were really lovely, in a call before the stay, to arrange the key collection, the host were so helpful recommending places to visit. We had an amazing dinner on our first night at The Star which is just 2 mins walk down the road. We will be back in the autumn as we all loved this place so much.

Lovely cottage, all brand new, comfortable bed and welcome gifts. Loved the built-in table and seating with a massive marble table and oak seating with led lights. The kitchen was well equipped and pristine, and the whole downstairs is tiled with underfloor heating. Enjoyed the outdoor seating area, nice and quiet with view across tideswell and the surrounding hills. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

beautiful house, with touches to make you very comfortable and set up for your stay in the most picturesque location. I would recommend this space and Tideswell to anyone wanting to stay in the Peaks for any type of holiday. Perfect for lots of walking and for none at all, one of the bedrooms and an additional bathroom is downstairs which was perfect for my parents who are unable now to climb stairs, and there was amenities close enough for even someone who struggles to walk far. thank you for a perfect stay ♡

Thank you for the very warm welcome. What a great place with the love for detail. I had a very nice and cozy room with a comfy bed and all amenities needed. The house is perfectly located in walking distance from restaurants and shopping and still very quiet. I had to leave early and was offered to have a sandwich on the way. Unfortunately my vehicle broke down and I created a little bit of chaos with my departure. Thanks for the help to get me going again.

Fabulous cottage. Very comfortable and characterful, beautiful location, well-equipped and much more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. There are lovely walks locally and the river Wye is just across the road. A pub a few minutes' walk away and it's just a few miles from Buxton. The supply of tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen was a nice touch.

    Large, spacious room, welcome gift of Fudge. Large bed and bathroom, with bath and large shower. Widescreen TV. Breakfast had many choices, nothing too much trouble. The young lady serving us each morning was very chatting and pleasant, sorry didn’t get her name but local to area. Onsite parking always a bonus.

    The location, free parking,the breakfast was lovely (although an extra charge) and the 2 ladies on in the morning were lovely and knowledgeable of the area. The room was cleaned daily and teas/coffees/biscuits replenished each day.     The cottage was perfect. It had plenty of modern comforts within a characterful building. It was stylish with quality, modern amenities. We were very comfortable. We appreciated that it was a quiet area with off street parking and an electric charging point if required. The village of Litton is in a lovely area with walks from the cottage. The local pub is very welcoming and serves delicious meals.

    The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had. The choice, quality, quantity could not be improved on....magnificent!! The rooms were excellent and the attention to detail on everyone unmatched. We even had our own car parking space with our name such that it was guaranteed for the duration of our stay. The location was central for many attractions.
