We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment with the maroon couch. The apartment is spacious, extremely clean and the furniture comfortable and in excellent condition. The beds have Mien hotel mattresses and were also in excellent condition. The apartment is on the 9th floor of an 11-story building, one of the highest in Gori. You can see the fortress over the top of the building across the courtyard and have a clear view of St George's Church from the large balcony. The pictures make the apartment look dark, this is because the glass is tinted to keep the heat out (the balcony receives afternoon sun). I need sunlight so we had the door open but it was not bad when closed. Note: you need a key fob to enter the building grounds and to use the elevator. As we stayed for five nights, we were given two sets of keys.

Great place for exploring Gori and surroundings. Cozy new cottages with all facilities you need and nice views of the vinyard. Great outdoor areas with a lush garden, nice dining area etc. Delicious food and wines. Very friendly and serviceminded personnel who went out of their way to help us with delayed luggage etc.

The accommodation is really beautiful and is laying not far from the city center. The host is incredible sweet and she doing everything for you to let you have a nice stay. Big clean rooms, beautifully renovated old house with quality materials, nice restaruant with good food and excellent georgian wine, friendly english speaking staff at the front desk (she was also covering for the rest of the hotell that needed translation), but first of all the hospitality of the owner who invited us to his dinner party in the renovated cellar, and in the morning took us for coffee and kinkhali, and to Ateni Sioni.
