A very nice A-frame cottage overlooking green meadows. The house is cozy and equipped with a refrigerator, an electric kettle and cups/dishes etc. A comfortable large bed. It's so nice to observe animals (cows, sheep, goats) sitting on the terrace. At least two restaurants are just round the corner. There is a small grocery store within a 5 minutes' walk. The host is very friendly. Recommended!

We arrived in the evening having been delayed on our long journey by snow in the mountains. We were immediately greeted with a very warm Georgian family welcome. Dinner was prepared and served in the family kitchen - homemade Georgian recipes. The beds were warm and comfortable and there is a shared bathroom. The family are extending their facilities for future guests. Having been out birding early the following morning we returned to a wonderful breakfast including homemade breads, jams, yoghurt and cheese. Good chat with our friendly hosts. The location is great for visits to local sites including the David Gareja Monastery. We loved our stay. Thank you.

What an enjoyment to stop in Udabno on the way to visit the Monastery of David Garedja. Time seems suspended in this isolated place surrounded by steppes stretching as far as the eye can see. Definitely worth experiencing. The host was welcoming and made our stay very pleasant, and the breakfast was very nice as well.

Both the owner and the granddaughter were very sweet and made us feel like at home, even taking us arround the town to see the only shop and explaining how people lived there. The granddaughter likes to have a good chat so it was quite entertaining to speak with a local and learning more about the area, her family or gerogian culture in general. The room is nice and quite big and the bed is allright. For breakfast you will be able to have the cheese that the grandma makes herself with her cows and sells to hotels and restaurants in neighbouring towns and cities! During summer the room might be a bit warm though.
