The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equiped. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was really nice. We only stayed here for 2 days but would be happy to stay even longer. The location is good, everything is in 5 min walking distance.

Just as we expected from the photos, a beautifully decorated old stone house with pretty outside area, very comfortable big bed, and good kitchen and a welcome natural cooling breeze through the windows. Thoughtful supplies of fruit, home made jam and local wine awaited us.

If you want to experience an authentic, non-touristic Rhodes, choose Mann House. The interior and the atmosphere both inside and in the courtyard are like an ethnographic museum. The hosts are very hospitable and had lunch waiting for us in the fridge! The town of Embon is also wonderful.

It is a mix of authentic and modern where you can experience what it was like to live in a Greek stone house and at the same time have modern comfort. The house is very clean, you will feel like home as owners have thought about every tiny detail that you might need. The privacy is guaranteed, it's very calm at night, also, you will have a private yard where you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee with various snacks and fruits (yes, we found lots of delicious stuff in the big fridge, It was a very nice surprise for us!). The owners of the house George and Julia are the people that you will meet only once in a life time! The attentiveness and care, warm welcome (Julia's cake was amazing!) and detailed presentation about the house made us feel like we are in a history meuseum where a super friendly guide is telling a story who has lived here before and what old parts of the house were kept and restored. The Embonas village where the house is located is such a gem! People are friendly, always smiling and saying hi, we even watched football game with the locals on Saturday evening as they have a football stadium here! You will find Greek tavernas, bakery, Gyro barbecue place (not only authentic Greek food but also amazing pizzas!), it is worth driving here if you want to feel the real Greek spirit and avoid touristy places, at the same time it is very easy to reach any part of the island from here. Big thank you to George and Julia who made our stay unforgetable and once again proved that Greek people are one of a kind!

A fantastic place to stay. The owners can organise anything for you, laundry, car hire, bicycle hire, tickets, tours, bus timetables etc. The rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds, good sound insulation between rooms. The bathrooms are large, well ventilated, with soaps, hairdryer, multiple towels and toilet paper. The room has wardrobe with coat hangers and spare pillows, desk, chair, bar fridge, kettle, mugs, coffee, tea and sugar. The balcony is partially inclosed making it private to neighboring rooms, with outdoor table, chairs and washing line to dry swimwear, towels etc. The ground floor has a restaurant which is convenient for getting breakfast lunch dinner or bottles of water/ wine without having to go out and look for somewhere. The owners are very helpful and accommodating, I was sick for a week and they made me home made soups and pastas and brought them to my room! Good wifi, pet cats to pat, walk to beach, or drive 5 mins to local ruins and restaurants, bus stop outside to Rhodes township

    Such a peaceful beautiful 24hours in Embonas! The house is up a bit of a hill, but parking right outside which is very convenient. We walked to the village and back up the hill again later and it's certainly a mini hike (in the heat!). The room is lovely, very quirky quaint, but new and clean at the same time. We watched a lovely sunset from the seats out on the veranda at the front. And slept wonderfully in perfect quiet! Never saw/met the owner, but the key was easy in the lockbox!

    I stayed just 2 nights in Embona having stayed elsewhere on the island prior - as much as I was sad to leave my old house, Rustic House from Kyriakos exceeded my expectations. Check-in was seamless, parking outside was possible, and the house itself was very clean and comfortable. After long days of hikes and drives around the island, I very much enjoyed coming back to the house to rest and recover.

    If you like to try different types of wines and enjoy mountain water from the tap, this is the right choice on the island. If you choose this village, this is the best house. Everything is exactly as in the pictures and perfectly clean. There is a parking space in front of the house, good Wi-Fi and air conditioning and a chess board. Communication with the host and check-in were quick and easy. The hanging wardrobe is about 1.20 meters high and my long evening dress got crushed (joke).
